I give permission for my child to be brought to hospital, if necessary. (Should it be deemed that due to medical considerations, that my child would require constant supervision, it shall be my responsibility to provide qualified adult cover).

Cancellation Policy - Only cancellations received a minimum of 7 days in advance of the start of the camp will be eligible for a refund, cancellations after that will not be eligible for a refund. All refunds will be arranged by the Treasurer of the club and made by cheque, all refunds will be subject to deduction of a transaction charge as appropriate.

I give my consent to Garda Westmanstown Gaels to process the personal data captured on this form for myself and any other applicants detailed on the form as detailed in the terms and conditions.

Westmanstown Gaels may use photos of the camp in promotional material and social media. Any use of this material will be in accordance with prevailing GAA social media and data protection guidelines. Please tick if you consent to your children being used in the associated photos (optional).

Data Protection

I and those detailed on this application acknowledge the need for Westmanstown Gaels GAA club to collect and process the data that is needed to administer the GAA camp that the persons on this application will attend.

  • I understand the personal data on this form (“Personal Data”) will be used by the Club and the GAA for the contractual purpose of registering the applicants for the GAA camp and administering that camp.
  • I understand that the Personal Data will be retained by the Club and the GAA for such period as is necessary for the administration of the camp.
  • I understand that my Personal Data will also be used for administrative purposes before during and after the camp which the applicants are to attend.
  • I understand that if I do not provide the relevant Personal Data the application to attend the GAA Camp cannot be processed and the applicants will not be able to attend.

General Terms and Conditions

  • Westmanstown Gaels GAA camps are open to children between the ages of 5 to 14.
  • The hours of the camps are 10.00 am to 2.30pm. (Westmanstown Gaels GAA shall not be responsible for any child left unsupervised outside these hours).
  • All booking are to be made on the online booking facility guarantees your child’s place at the camp, we do accept children who present at camp if they have not booked online.
  • No family discounts are available for the camp.
  • There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 7 days before the camp, please contact westmanstowngaelsGAAcamps@gmail.com to inform us of any cancellations.
  • Westmanstown Gaels GAA Club reserve the right to make date / venue changes if necessary and will not be held accountable should activities be suspended or cancelled due to bad weather.
  • In cases where the weather is deemed so bad that the coaching activities need to be suspended, the club has access to the Westmanstown conference centre and we would move your children indoors.
  • Should the camp be cancelled either in part or in whole the co-ordinator will contact the parent or guardian to advise them should the suspension of coaching activities become necessary. It will then be the responsibility of the parent / guardian to make arrangements to collect the child. The coaching staff will of course supervise all children until they have been collected.
  • The Camp will operate to a high standard but it cannot be held liable or responsible for damages, injuries or loss of possessions and parents/guardians are advised to obtain personal insurance for these occurences. We advise valuable items to be left at home.
  • Misbehaviour will result in the participant being suspended from the camp; no refund will be given.
  • Cancellations due to medical reasons must be verified in writing by a medical practioner. A refund will be issued upon receipt of suitable evidence verifying the condition. Medical cancellations must be verified within 3 days of cancellation to receive full refund.
  • Where the camp includes a piece of gear or equipment such items are subject to availability and in this regard, in the event of supply difficulties or because items are no longer in stock, we reserve the right to change the items that we provide or to make it available after the Camp.
  • Children must not utilize their smartphones or other devices to post on social media during the Camp. To do so would be deemed misbehavior and may result in the child being suspended or expelled from camp.
  • Parent must respond to contact from the camp co-ordinator and must collect their child following mis-behaviour and if they are unwell. A child who is ill should not be brought to the camp and will not be accepted by the camp co-ordinator.
